ANALYSIS - EXPERIENCES - KNOWLEDGE - STRATEGIES:  ARTS EDUCATION K-12

Alban Elved Dance Company conducts several innovative and intellectually stimulating educational programs for grades k-12.
Our offerings are designed to integrate into the school curriculum and we are looking forward to tailoring our programming to your needs.

Our arts education programming focuses on three main areas:
1) Critical thinking, movement and art analysis
2) hands on creative experiences
3) Anatomical and biomechanical knowledge & strategies for movers, dancers and educators

Art engages people in complex conversations, challenges and develops our brains, makes us more empathetic and imaginative, nourishes our ability for problem solving  and critical thinking. Movement and creativity help students bond with one another.

Our Arts Education programming instills a sense of self-confidence, and accomplishment in children and meets them on a level that is founded on respect.
