MoRe
MOVEMENT RESEARCH PROJECT Exploring the intersections of Movement Science and Movement Arts. The Movement Research Project is a joint production with Salem College and the Dance & Movement Science Department, Winston-Salem, NC. Salem College and Alban Elved Dance Company seek to help people from all walks of life find their own meaningful ways to fluid movement and a life free from myofascial pain. Creativity plays an essential role in wellness and we understand our position in the community as a key player in the education about dance beyond the understanding of strict exercise regimens and superimposed ideological movement concepts for the purpose of shaping bodies to our will. We study the anatomy and biomechanics of the structures and their interplay, to honor and use them to their full potential. The MoRe Summer School takes place in the first week of August.
